Five steps before enrollment
This is a preparation path, not an online application. The program finder opens guides; call PLA to discuss the next enrollment step.
- Choose a learning stage. Explore Kindergarten through Grade 12 programs and consider your child’s recent learning experience and support needs.
- Compare the published offer. Read annual tuition, payment options and included support. The plan covers 36 study weeks of self-paced learning with selected assignment review, rather than daily live classes.
- Check the education arrangement. Use your state’s official-resource guide to identify the requirements relevant to your family. A PLA state page does not confirm state approval or individual eligibility.
- Discuss the plan with PLA. Call the school about availability, the exact subjects, who reviews the work, the study calendar, start date and any records needed. Confirm how documents and assignments will be exchanged.
- Obtain the written terms. Confirm the enrollment agreement, full annual price, payment schedule, withdrawal and refund terms before paying or changing schools. For High School, obtain written confirmation of credit, completion, records and diploma arrangements.

Talk to PLA about your next step
Have your child’s current grade, recent learning experience, strengths and support needs in mind. Ask which records are required and how to share them securely before sending sensitive documents.
Initial orientation, the learning plan and digital resources for the agreed subjects are included in tuition, with no separate registration fee. Start dates and individual enrollment requirements still need to be agreed with the school.
