What this website provides

PLA Online School is an operating independent school for Kindergarten through Grade 12. Its PLA Independent format combines self-paced learning with teacher review of submitted work. Program guides, family resources and state pages help families explore that approach.

The program finder opens information pages. It does not submit an application, reserve a place, create a student account or take payment. Published tuition describes the offer; visiting a page does not begin teaching or enrollment.

Information for family decisions

We write for parents and students comparing learning stages, routines and support. We distinguish PLA program details from general learning suggestions and questions to discuss before enrollment.

Examples explain an approach rather than promise identical progress, grades or outcomes. A sample assignment, timetable or feedback passage is identified as an example rather than a record of a particular student.

Sources and evidence

State guides link to official education resources. Families should check the original authority for current requirements and their own circumstances; a national overview cannot settle an individual student’s eligibility.

School-specific statements must match the published offer and available evidence. We do not present competitors’ features, planning assumptions or illustrative examples as PLA services. Accreditation, credentials, credit and diploma statements require evidence specific to the program and institution concerned.

People and illustrations

Named authors, reviewers and teachers are identified only when their names, roles and relevant details are approved for publication. A teacher’s name is not added to material they have not reviewed.

Learning and travel photographs illustrate the website’s subject. They do not identify enrolled PLA students, staff, facilities or school events. No illustrative photograph is presented as an instructor portrait.

Updates and corrections

We correct factual errors and revise material when a published offer, official source or practical requirement changes. Material corrections should make the revised information clear. We do not promise a fixed review cycle or response time.

Sponsorship or a commercial relationship that affects a recommendation should be disclosed alongside it. Source links let readers check the basis of information themselves.

To report a possible factual error, call PLA using the contact details on the Contact page. Identify the page and the statement you would like the school to check; avoid sharing private student records in a correction request.
